Today was a picture perfect Earth Day celebration in Valley Village. Great weather, good turnout of stakeholders, lots of elected officials, and best of all we filled over half the shredding truck, adopted 40 trees and gave out many water saver faucets, and collected over 200 pounds of food for NHIFP.
I want to extend my thanks to Maribel and the entire Events and Outreach Committee who continue to show us “it takes a Village!” To all the Board members, Students and dedicated volunteers who helped make the day flow so smoothly we are forever grateful for your continued involvement. We also thank Ben and the office of Councilman Adrin Nazarian for their support.
Kudos to everyone – it was another great Valley Village event!
