Valley Village Celebrates National Night Out
On Tuesday night, August 7 communities across Los Angeles celebrated the 35th anniversary of National Night Out. Valley Village was pleased to have Councilmember Krekorian and Assemblymember Nazarian join us for the festivities.
NCVV Names Student Board Member
On July 25th the Board of Neighborhood Council Valley Village voted unanimously to elect Eileen Garcia as a Student Representative. In fall of 2017 she and other students led the effort to stop relocation of a Charter School at the North Hollywood campus, a proposed move that would have caused significant crowding at one of the city’s largest schools.
Reception Launches Valley Village Art Show
Valley Village artists joined over 100 neighbors for an exciting kickoff reception that marked the start of a three week show of local art in a variety of media. Art will be on display at Carter Sexton through August 10.

Homeless Forum Brings Experts to Valley Village
The June 28th Town Hall Forum on Homelessness sponsored by NCVV’s Board of Directors brought together community and city leaders along with over 200 Valley Village stakeholders, to discuss how we can work together to have a positive impact on this humanitarian crisis facing our society.
