NCVV’s Board of Directors and Student Board approved the first in person event to be held since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, Earth Day 2022. The event is scheduled for April 23, 10am – 1pm, on the campus of Colfax School. Activities available to our community will include a shredding truck to discard personal documents in an eco-friendly manner, free fruit and shade trees, and elementary students displaying their earth day projects for neighbors to see.
Committee Chair Maribel Ulloa-Garcia and members of the NCVV Events and Outreach Committee have planned other activities during the event that will recognize the importance of the day. “We are very excited to finally host an in-person event for our Valley Village neighbors and look forward to an exciting day” said Ms. Ulloa-Garcia.
