Saturday April 19 NCVV’s Board of Directors along with our Events & Outreach Committee will celebrate Earth Day in Valley Village Park. The Board is sponsoring a shredding truck to dispose of paper records, giving away free trees, and registering stakeholders to vote in the NCVV Board election. We will be collecting non-perishable unopened food for the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry.
The Board will also celebrate Earth Day by recognizing the longtime service of Jeff Camp by designating April 19, 2025 as JEFF CAMP DAY in Valley Village. Jeff was the longtime Field Deputy in the office of Councilman Paul Krekorian and worked with our Board, our Board Committees and multiple city offices to help ensure our neighborhood had strong support and consistent, well delivered city services.
“Jeff was an enormous presence in Valley Village and we owe a great deal to him for his support over the years” said Suzanne Lewis, Chair of City Services and Co-Chair of Events & Outreach Committees.
Earlier this year Jeff accepted the position of Senior Field Deputy in the office of Councilwoman Heather Hutt. The proclamation honoring Jeff will be presented at NCVV’s 2025 Earth Day event.
