Hundreds of neighbors came together in Valley Village Park to celebrate the 41st National Night Out. This was NCVV's NNO 20th event, and everyone who joined the cool breezes and smooth sounds of the Jimmy Dale Band had the opportunity to recognize the importance of community in times of trouble and need.
Mayor Karen Bass paid a visit to Valley Village on July 24 to speak about the importance of art in the city of Los Angeles. The meeting featured comments from Mayor Bass, stressing the importance of arts in a strong, vibrant city, and spoke to her commitment to supporting organizations and groups that promote opportunities in the arts.

Neighborhood Council Valley Village celebrated the nation's birthday with our annual pancake breakfast, sponsored with staff and members of the congregation of Faith Presbyterian Church.
Celebration National Night Out Against Crime on August 5 at Valley Village Park. Enjoy food, music, fun, raffles and the glow stick walk. Be sure to turn your porch lights on!
Enjoy the Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast and 85th Anniversary Celebration 8-9:30am on the front lawn of Faith Presbyterian Church. Live music with the Ukulele Orchestra of the Western Hemisphere. Bring non perishable food donations for the North Hollywood Food Pantry.
The seven newly elected Board members will be sworn in and begin their Board tenure on July 23 during an in person meeting at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5000 Colfax Avenue.
