October 8, 2026, some of your NCVV Board Members were invited to and attended Community Day at the new terminal at the Hollywood Burbank Airport in advance of its grand opening on Tuesday, October 13. This new facility is all-electric and technologically advanced yet stays true to our small-town airport vibe. It’s very easy to navigate with one larger TSA screening area, all gates either to the right or to the left, and indoor baggage claim. Additionally, every level of the new parking structure (right next to the terminal) has lots of EV Charging Stations. Thank you Supervisor Kathryn Barger for the invite. Travelers are really going to love the new terminal.
