The City Charter is a comprehensive document that governs how the city of LA operates. In light of recent scandals and challenges, a Commission was formed last year to change/update the charter.
You can be part of the change by sending your opinions on how the city functions. Answer a few brief questions in the public survey to let the Commissioners your thoughts on matters like the city budget, the size of LA’s City Council, the power give to the Mayor, City Attorney and other leaders.
The deadline for completing the brief survey is January 2026. Everyone who completes the survey is eligible to win a $50 gift card.
