At the November 2017 Board meeting of Neighborhood Council Valley Village, the Los Angeles Department of Transportation presented plans to step up enforcement of speed limits in Valley Village with a focus on several “cut through corridors” including Riverside Drive, Chandler Boulevard and Whitsett Drive. This plan, to be implemented over the next several months, will include adjusting speed limits so that radar detection equipment can be used. The first targeted effort in Valley Village will be on Riverside Drive.
