This year Neighborhood Council Valley Village (NCVV) will celebrate the 42nd annual National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 4 from 6 to 8:00 PM in Valley Village Park.

NCVV is partnering with the Valley Village Residents Association, the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, and Councilmember Adrin Nazarian to celebrate this national event that recognizes partnerships between neighborhoods and public safety officials, focused on making communities safer.  National sponsors who will join NCVV’s event include Starbucks, Target and ADT. Temple Adat Ari El will host a special children’s area with activities and games for all ages.  There will be many other government and community organizations at this year’s event sharing information about their work in our community.

The celebration will include food, music, fun, special prize raffles, an LAPD led glow stick walk and more. We will also be hosting a food drive during the event with NHIFP, and you can bring unopened, non-perishable food for people and pets to help others in need.
