2025 budget day

The Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates invites all residents, community leaders, and stakeholders to attend Budget Day 2025 on Saturday, June 21 at City Hall, beginning with a complimentary breakfast at 7:30 AM and a full program starting at 9:00 AM.

With the City facing an unprecedented financial crisis—including record-high deficits, the potential for department layoffs, and proposed reductions to public services—this year’s Budget Day is more urgent than ever. Community members are strongly encouraged to participate, ask questions, and advocate for their neighborhoods.

“The City’s budget is more than numbers—it determines the services and quality of life Angelenos experience every day,” said “At a time of significant cuts and hard choices, public input is essential.”
