The audience enjoyed pizza from Joe Peep's while asking questions about home safety, recent crime statistics, and steps that will help everyone remain vigilant about crime during the holiday season. On Saturday April 19 NCVV's Board celebrated Earth Day with a shredding event, free trees, and an opportunity to donate food for those in need. NCVV Board members, neighbors and other stakeholders joined City Councilman Adrin Nazarian, US Congresswoman Luz Rivas, State Assemblymember Nick Schulz and Senior Lead Officer Rob Benavidez as hundreds dropped off documents for shredding, adopted trees and donated food to the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry.
