A Living History Event at Campo de Cahuenga
Step back into California history at the Annual Treaty of Cahuenga Re-Enactment, a free, family-friendly event commemorating the 1847 signing of the Articles of Capitulation that helped bring the Mexican-American War in California to an end.
Held at the historic Campo de Cahuenga, this engaging live re-enactment brings an important moment in California’s past to life. Attendees can experience period costumes, historical storytelling, and a vivid portrayal of the treaty signing that shaped the future of the state.
Period cosplayers are welcome, and all ages are encouraged to attend. Admission is free, and free, convenient parking is available at the adjacent MTA lot.
