DESCRIPTION:There are many very important offices and ballot measures on this year’s state-wide ballot – including candidates running for Governor\, Lt. Governor\, US Senate\, all US House seats\, and county and city races. There are also five ballot initiatives including a request to approve bonds for parks\, additional transportation funding\, and an amendment to the state’s Cap-and-Trade program. It is important that everyone vote\, and to help you with decisions\, the League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Community Forum on the Primary Election. The meeting will be held May 17\, from 12:30 – 2:30\, at Platt Library\, 23600 Victory Boulevard in Woodland Hills.
