DESCRIPTION:Neighborhood Council Valley Village is proud to be part of the 34th annual National Night Out event\, Tuesday August 1 in Valley Village Park. Sponsored by your NCVV Board of Directors\, this community gathering will feature music\, food\, ice cream\, and raffles as well as important information about crime prevention. Guest speakers include our City Councilman Paul Krekorian\, our State Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian\, and our Senior Lead Officer Manny Arreygue. Art in the Park will be back once again showcasing the work of local artists from Valley Village. And NCVV will be paying tribute to our some of our valley LAPD officers who work hard to keep us safe. \nThis year’s national sponsors include ringwifi smart doorbell systems\, ADT security systems and King’s Hawaiian Bread. A ringwifi smart doorbell system and other great prizes will be raffled off to lucky stakeholders. Activities begin at 6:30 pm\, and at sunset we will join officers from LAPD for our traditional “Glo-Stick walk” around the neighborhood. \nBe sure to Turn On Your Porch Light to show your support of our LAPD officers and our community’s effort to take back the streets from crime.
