DESCRIPTION:We missed connecting with our stakeholders during National Night Out (NNO) last year and out of safety and health precautions\, will also forego the in-person gathering NC Valley Village traditionally hosts in Valley Village Park. But we hope you will recognize the importance of the day by joining with your family and neighbors to turn your porch lights on and perhaps take a stroll by flashlight around your neighborhood at dusk. \nTraditionally Valley Village parents and children have joined the NCVV led “lite-stick” walk through the streets surrounding the park and we would like to keep this tradition going. We hope you feel likewise and will participate this year in this somewhat modified version. \nNational Night out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer\, more caring places. Let us symbolically shine a light to deter crime and keep our\nValley Village streets safe and welcoming to all residents in our community.
