The Board of Neighborhood Council Valley Village has proposed bylaw changes that will expand participation for community interest stakeholders.

Historically the participation of community interest stakeholders has been limited to running for and voting on the At Large B seat.

The Board has proposed a set of amendments that expand participation for community interest stakeholders, making  both the At Large A and At Large B seats open to community interest stakeholders who choose to run for a Board seat, and to community interest stakeholders who wish to vote in NCVV’s election.  This action will ensure that every election cycle a community interest seat is open to all who wish to be part of the bi-annual election.

All other seats would remain as they currently are assigned, open to stakeholders who live, work or own real property in Valley Village.
