On Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM we will roll open the doors at all Neighborhood Fire Stations and look forward to your visit.
The second Saturday of each May is designated “Fire Service Recognition Day” because we are Your Los Angeles Fire Department and we place great value on our community relationships. We hope you will come spend part of your day with us and learn about the services we offer, interact with firefighters, increase your fire safety knowledge and enjoy some FREE family fun. Our daily, overarching priority is your safety and in line with this year’s theme, we want you to:”Be LAFD Safe”
During our Open Firehouse, we are honored to provide tours of Your Neighborhood Fire Station, fire safety and disaster preparedness education and free smoke alarms for your home (while supplies last). The LAFD will also bestow the title “Honorary Fire Chief” on highly deserving community members recognized for their unwavering support of the LAFD.
