Would you like more park space, more trees, sidewalks and green space? Now is your chance to let the City know!

The Los Angeles Community and General Plans have not been updated for fifty years. Contrast that with other major western cities like Seattle, San Francisco and Denver who have updated their plans within the past five years!

The Department of City Planning has set a goal of revising and implementing a modern plan by 2020. Part of this effort relies on community input, including involvement of Neighborhood Councils. NCVV’s Board has appointed a Task Force led by Board Member Glenn Block to represent our interests in the process. The success of this work depends on our stakeholders. Join us as we work to protect the great character that makes Valley Village special. Join your Board for an opportunity to share perspectives on the General Plan process and the need for more open and shared community space.

When: Saturday, October 7, 2017, 10:00am – 12:00PM

Where: Van Nuys Civic Center, Community Rooms 1A and 1B, 14410 Sylvan Street Van Nuys
