It happens every two years and this coming year is no exception, Neighborhood Council Valley Village is holding an election for its Board of Directors and we hope you will consider becoming a candidate! The NCVV Board is made up of stakeholders who represent many different aspects of our community. Becoming a Board member would afford you the chance to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the effort to keep Valley Village as one of the city’s finest communities. We are actively recruiting for the following positions:

Homeowners – 2

Renters – 2

Business Representative – 1

Education Representative – 1

At Large Seat/Community Interest – 1

That’s right – if you don’t quite fit into a specific category, we also elect an “at-large” candidate.

All candidates must qualify as a stakeholder – someone who lives, works or owns real property in Valley Village, or someone who declares and affirms a stake in neighborhood as a community interest stakeholder. The candidate filing period opens December 24th and closes on February 7th. The election will be on Thursday, April 7, 2016. If you’d like to find out more about the filing process, contact Ginny Hatfield, our Elections Chair at 818-970-4577 – or – elections@myvalleyvillage.com

We hope you’ll agree to “throw your hat in the ring,” and become a candidate.   If you have experience and talent to offer your community, becoming an elected member of the governing body of Valley Village is an ideal place to put this to good use!  Click on the below Neighborhood Council Candidate Registration button to begin your candidacy!
